Although each tribe has different processes and due dates, all tribes require support from a local government as outlined in the tribal gaming compact. For Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (FMYN) awardees, this means creating an Intent to Apply form, uploading an application that will be submitted to FMYN and supplying 501c3 IRS determination documentation. Once reviewed and approved, Maricopa County will begin the process of requesting a Resolution of Support from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. Once approved, a copy of the Resolution and a signed application will be provided to each applicant. Applications packages can then be submitted directly to FMYN.
