Description

Although each tribe has different processes and due dates, all tribes require support from a local government as outlined in the tribal gaming compact. For Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (FMYN) awardees, this means creating an Intent to Apply form, uploading an application that will be submitted to FMYN and supplying 501c3 IRS determination documentation.
Page one of the FMYN application requires you identify a governmental sponsor. Please list the following information and include a signature line and date field-                               

Page 4 of the FMYN application requires a resolution or letter. Once reviewed and approved, Maricopa County will begin the process of requesting a Resolution of Support from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. Maricopa County will provide a signed resolution and application cover page via email to each applicant prior to the tribal deadline. The application package should be sent directly to the tribe prior to the deadline. Maricopa County is not responsible for forwarding applications to the tribe.
All questions regarding the tribal award process should be referred to Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
