Although each tribe has different processes and due dates, all tribes require support from a local government as outlined in tribal gaming compact. Specifically for Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) awardees, this means uploading your application that will be submitted to GRIC, supplying 501c3 IRS Determination documentation and establishing a Maricopa County vendor customer number. Once reviewed and approved, Maricopa County will begin the process of requesting a resolution of support from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. When the resolution of support is approved by the MC Board of Supervisors, a copy will be provided to GRIC along with a list of approved applicants.
