Although each tribe has different processes and due dates, all tribes require support from a local government entity as outlined in tribal gaming compact. For applicants who would like to list Maricopa County as a governmental sponsor, please fill out the Intent to Apply form. Once complete, you may list Maricopa County as your governmental sponsor and forward your application to the tribe.
If awarded by the Salt River Pima Maricopa- Indian Community tribe, Maricopa County will initiate the resolution process and require you to upload your application submitted to SRP-MIC, 501c3 IRS Determination documentation and establish a Maricopa County vendor customer number. Once the resolution of support is approved by the MC Board of Supervisors, distribution of awarded funds can begin. Please note, SRP-MIC submission is by tribal invitation only.
